Parkville - Land of Pleasant Living

So Friday night, Mrs. Jergy and I decided to enjoy the awesome weather before we were under a weekend of thunderstorms.

A local watering hole was starting a summer concert series in the parking lot across the street and no better way to spend your Friday then drinking beer on the asphalt while listening to music. This pub that was hosting is known as a beacon of excellent beer in this Natty-Boh of a town. So even if the music was disappointing, you knew the beer would be good....

And it was good. It was unfortunate that the date fell at a poor time for Mrs. J and myself. By poor I meant we had no money. Or just enough money we could scrape from our neighbors to each buy us a can. Being a person who always tries to get the most bang for my buck, I was elated to see they were selling cans of Resurrection Ale.

There was every kind of Baltimore stereotype there. Including the toothless man in black vest and bowler hat dancing to "Honey Don't" with his back to the stage so he could point to the crowd while shaking his thing.

Then there was the band themselves.

Hard rockin' boys in the shadow of Kelly's Pool Hall means good times for all.

We may head back down this Friday. I'll wear my new t-shirt.
